Grandpa, Playground, Alabama Game

My grandfather was hospitalized recently for pneumonia but was sent home last week. I found out he's in the hospital again because of blood clots in his legs. So yesterday morning, the kids and I picked mom up and we drove to Scottosboro for a visit.

I'm really glad we went to visit him. He was so happy to see us and couldn't believe how much the kids have grown and changed. He said Cody looked better then he's ever seen him. I have to completely agree with him there:)

We love you Grandpa!

After our visit, we grabbed lunch and went to the park. I have so many memories of us grabbing Krystals, going to Jackson County Park and feeding our french fries to the squirrels:)

They have a new...well, new to me, playground close to the entrance of the park. We ate our Mickey D's and played for a while, while we tried to stay away from a kid with a nasty cough who was following Cody around. We didn't stay long.

We got home around 3:00 and stayed here until Bobby left for work. Then we went and had dinner and watched the football game with mom and her friend David. We had a great meal and really enjoyed spending time with them. The game didn't end until after 11:30, so we got home around midnight and crashed. It was a very long day, but a really good one:)
