Snow Days

We got out in the snow for a few minutes yesterday. It didn't take long for the kids to get cold, so we went back inside so they could play the Wii and I could make chocolate chip cookies. I didn't have any helpers in the kitchen this time. They were having too much fun playing Mario. Britney is becoming quite fed up with Mario's need to rescue little miss helpless Princess Peach!


We've made Logan and Cassie a place to sleep in the shed with blankets and a heater. The half melted snow froze on our back steps and patio last night. I almost had a nasty spill this morning when I went to let them out. Then Logan got excited. He was running and spun around on the ice...let's just say I wasn't the only uncoordinated thing outside this morning:)

We've stayed inside today. It's COLD! I snuggled under a blanket with Cody and read the first two chapters of The Magician's Nephew. Britney is finishing up The Lovely Bones. We're in our pajamas, we've made hot tea and now the kids are playing with their dress up things.
