We counted down to midnight and soon confetti covered the floor! Those little party poppers are loud!
The first day of 2011 was relatively uneventful. We got up late. Last night, we had a major thunderstorm. Cassie has always been and forever will be afraid of thunder. That kid barks like crazy during a thunderstorm, so needless to say Bobby and I didn't get much sleep. When everyone got hungry, we made a yummy meal of biscuits, bacon and eggs. Bobby watched most of the Alabama game, we played Scrabble, we talked about homeschooling goals for this year, I looked at websites and curriculum I want to try out, Britney sketched, Cody used his catapult to fling snapping pops against the house...just a nice day.
Just curious...what are you adding/changing in homeschooling this time? We are making some major changes curriculum wise and also in how we do it, too! I think it will be more fun for all of us. :)
